Introducing Our New Conitos

We are proud to introduce our new line of conitos - little cones. If you don’t know them already, we apologize for the possible addiction to come. Conitos first appeared in the 60’s as part of Havanna’s line of alfajores. They were called Havanettes, as many Argentines still refer to them. Now, they’re simply known as conitos.

A Magical Childhood Experience

When I was a child, having a conito was a magical experience that happened maybe once a year. Back then, only Havanna made them, and their factory was located in Mar del Plata, 500 kilometers away from Buenos Aires. So unless someone brought them to you, they were very hard to get!

The Fun Part

The fun part for me was always the shape. You could bite just the tip of the cone and leave the cookie behind, kind of like an Oreo experience but much better! Conitos are filled with a generous amount of dulce de leche – a whole spoon’s worth (my daily intake goal) – and topped with a layer of dark chocolate. What could go wrong?

The Charm of Conitos

Conitos (little cones) are undoubtedly one of the most charming and surprising Argentine confections available here in the U.S. In Buenos Aires, you can find them in kiosks or confiterías, but our version has something extra special: chocolate cones filled with a rich heap of dulce de leche, all perched on a shortbread cookie.

A Delightful Mix of Textures and Flavors

Each bite offers a delightful mix of textures and flavors: rich dark chocolate, smooth dulce de leche, and buttery shortbread.
