Wooden Table Baking Co. is an Oakland-based bakery, dedicated to crafting the finest Argentinian treats. We've been making our alfajores and bonbons from scratch with high quality, all natural ingredients since 2011. We use locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible and our flour, granulated sugar, cornstarch, chocolate, potato starch and tapioca starch are all non-GMO.

Our Head Baker
My name is Andreas Ozzuna and I’m the owner and Head Baker at Wooden Table Baking Co. I grew up in Buenos Aires in a large family with a grandmother who cooked for us every day. When I moved to the Bay Area over 18 years ago, there was not a lot of Argentinean food—so I had to make the food I craved!
When my nostalgia kicked in, I surrounded myself with homemade Argentinean empanadas, alfajores, tangos y maté! My grandmother taught me these recipes—it is from her that I inherited my love of cooking. I remember being next to her at our wooden table making raviolis, gnochi and tarts every weekend!
A whole spoonful of dulce de leche in my mouth as a reward when she wasn’t looking…Yeah! I really loved those moments with her. I loved being next to my grandma, looking up when she showed me how to make alfajores.
